Analog breath is so great, you can even hum or growl and have that FM the wave form, but for most melodic approaches, midi breath does better than I even expected it with modular.īut still. and that's a lot for me to say as I'm usually considered overboard on the analog insistence. and likely you won't need it with midi pitch bend being higher resolution than other CC control channels.īreath is the most essential to have analog, but honestly, you can do really well even that being midi in. Vibrato is great to have smooth, but even just a slight analog slew in the module will be fine for this. ![]() Notes are digital and midi is fast enough. and just focus on finding a way to CV the breath. run everything midi to the modular except for breath. But I've also at times gone midi into it and for years did a lot of sample playing from it.įrom that perspective, I would recommend on the EWI3000 interface idea.
